From my daily diary – (A collection of Essays, Thoughts, Theories and Ideas)

The story so far….

Man and His Life: Short and miserable is man’s life: on him and all his anger… slow but surely doomed… Blind to both good and evil, reckless of destruction, his life rolls relentlessly, for condemned today to lose his dearest, tomorrow he shall pass through the gate of hell himself. Yet he cherishes his victories: his lofty thoughts that ennoble his little day; disdaining the cowardly terrors for he but the slave of fate himself – worshipping at the shrine that his own selfish mind created – undismayed by the empire of charms, to preserve a mind free from the wanton tyranny, that rules his outward life. Proudly defiant he resists the forces for a moment, and condemns others who submit to it… in darkness submitting himself to the same and yet cries loudly for he is the man and thus proclaims to sustain alone a weary but unyielding Atlas, the world that his own ideas created.

This we know: the universe does not belong to man, man belongs to the universe. All things are connected like the colour of blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

The Meaning of Life – People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning of life. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive….

Stories Names Tell: There are as many names in this world, as there are many words, in as many languages we humans speak. And the first words that evolved must have been names. Not words describing things, or motions, or adding meanings but simple names – words that represented something – a man at the next cave, or the fierce animal in the forest or still some strange phenomena. Names of strange natural phenomena, objects or creatures that the then humans could not comprehend. Thus, through fear and awe creating Gods and in the process creating the first words…the names of these Gods. And then the next words, names still, must have been the ‘names’ they gave to each other for the purpose of communication. The real usage of language being as an instrument of communication, the primitive languages must have actually first consisted of only names or nouns and the humans must have communicated through a rather complex mixture of limited vocabulary consisting of nouns and physical gestures. However, as social theories cannot be universally generalized, I for one believe that scholars all over the world will accept my opinion as to what has been stated above as a generalized postulate.
